The September meeting was held at the home of Joan McCulloch. This months meeting also celebrated the birthday of Liz Gregor (far left on top picture).
The food is all home made and we try to keep it traditional with the English fare we are all familiar with (it reminds us of home). We serve sherry and wine and of course the good old English cuppa tea (In China Cups of course).
The meetings are usually kept very brief, we have to deal with correspondence that comes to us from the National Board, Mount Batten House (our sponsored home), the State Board and last but not least the Chapter after which we simply enjoy each others company, catch up with events and happenings, it really is a pleasant couple of hours spent in the company of like minded people who have become friends.
