SDOM 2009 Atlanta
Eight of us attended from Tennessee. The Southern District were well represented there. I think every state but one, was represented and Georgia did a wonderful job hostessing the event. They hosted a cocktail party on the Friday evening, where everyone was able to mingle and meet. Saturday morning there was the SDOM meeting which was was very informative and a lot of round table discussion about membership and how to increase and retain members was discussed. Mostly idea sharing. Tennessee brought back with them some good ideas. Saturday afternoon was free and then the Georgia group hosted a wonderful dinner and social event in the evening for everyone. All in all a good weekend.
Mountbatten House Conference 2010
Some members of the Centre Court Chapter are eagerly awaiting a trip down to Sarassota in Florida for the 2010 Mountbatten House Conference and DBE National Convention. The two events are being held from Wednesday 12th May to Sunday 16th May
Those attending on behalf of The DBE in Tennessee will be Diane Jones, Joan McCulloch, Hilary Abercrombie and Judy Berry.
